Dieudonné Heeren was the lucky winner in our MyDALI competition and won a pair of LEKTOR 1 loudspeakers in March month.

Here is what he has to say:

"After we picked up the loudspeakerset at the showroom of Iman Dane we did not wait to enjoy the first sounds.

As you could see on the photo we have got a warm welcome from the shopowner and the distributor of DALI.

When we came home my son Bert (in the middle of the photo) connected the set to his Marantz 7001 receiver.

We were astonished about the quality of sound reproduction coming from these small boxes.

If we were blindfolded we would think the loudspeakers where bigger than they are.

Basses in the low region did not sound booming but undistorted and in control. The high tones did not sound harsh as we have experienced with some other loudspeakers. We think efficiency is a little low but that is normal with small loudspeakers and with modern amplifiers where power is no issue. We find that all instruments are clearly defined and can be distinguished very easily.

After long time listening to these small guys one would never become tired. We like popmusic, easy listening and classical music. Human voice sound also very natural not out of a box.

The assembly quality of the loudspeakers does look very neat. It is no problem to put them in the interior of a livingroom.

Maybe I can suggest some music to test listen loudspeakers. We have music of a Greek musiscian Yanni Live in Acropolis with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra 1994 BMG 10058 21222. This CD has many good solo's of a wide range of instruments. The sound is very dynamic or quiet when the passage requires it to be. It sound like real instruments in the living room. Even the piano sounds very good.

So if these small loudspeakers have such a good quality we are anxious to listen to some of the bigger type of DALI loudspeakers.

We are very happy with our price.

What need to be said is that the design -and the productionteam of DALI deserve a great compliment for their efforts.
